Why no direct installer buttons?

Release assets and supported platforms can change. These links intentionally open the project's version-specific GitHub release so you can inspect filenames and checksums before installing. We do not manufacture platform downloads or integrity hashes.

Verify your download

Before installing financial software, check that it came from the expected project release and that the file's SHA-256 hash matches an independently authenticated checksum, when provided. A GitHub “Verified” commit badge is not equivalent to a signed binary release.

On Linux, calculate a file's hash with:

sha256sum filename

On Windows, use certutil -hashfile filename SHA256. Compare the entire result against a trusted release manifest, if one is published.

Build from source

Source code and build instructions live in the canonical BitcoinII Core repository. Build options vary by platform and release; use the documentation for the checked-out tag.
